Did you know there are various things going on around our Diocese for young adults? This past month there was a Young Adult Coffeehouse at Sacred Heart in Lake Worth and Theology on Tap at Beef O'Bradys in Royal Palm Beach. The pictures above are from Theology on Tap. On Sunday Nov. 9th we had a great time at our Youth Day Celebration! Great weather, delicious food, and fun games...what else could we ask for? We had a youth vs. adults kickball game won by the adults! However, the youth were the champions of both the tug-of-war and soccer game! Some shared their talent (real and imagined) singing karaoke. September 15th-October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month! On October 18th we will be celebrating the Hispanic Festival at our parish from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. All are invited!There will be ethnic food, music bands, karate demonstrations, a boutique, a flea market, $1,000 raffle, folkloric dances, a play, and a paso fino horse show. On Saturday September 20th, we had our first Green Day! Green Day is a bimonthly environmentally focused activity for high schoolers. This month we went canoeing at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. This summer teens from our parish participated in Catholic Heart Work Camp in Charleston, South Carolina. The week consisted of service projects during the daytime and evening programs with music, skits, prayer, and testimonies.
